This only works on cars that 15 years or older(or have 150k miles or more) , but for those cars the number is fixed depending on county and school district. For me it’s $25 a year each for my cars. My Golf was going to be $700, and my last FiST tag cost $400.

Holy shit!  That’s pricey, and I thought Michigan was expensive.  I pay over $400 for my 10 year old S8, because it was an expensive car way back when the first owner bought it.  And that’s double our newer Pacifica.  Wow, just wow.
